Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was apparent from the time she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial time she tried out, she was ranked 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed an agreement with Adidas. Then she was accepted into an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top three in all of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
